FLORIDA — Seven restaurants in Florida were among OpenTable’s "Top 100" list, which included everything from a Whiskey and Ramen joint in Anchorage, Alaska, to a large pink tavern in Savannah, Georgia, and even an Eiffel Tower-themed eatery overlooking the Bellagio fountains in Las Vegas.

The list, released Wednesday, features an updated methodology using OpenTable diner reviews and new metrics, the company said in a news release. It includes some of the hottest, in-demand restaurants in the country.

One note: If you plan to celebrate at one of the restaurants, make your reservations now.

Here are the Florida restaurants that earned a spot on the list:

Bern’s Steak House – 1208 S. Howard Avenue, Tampa

"Perfectly aged steaks, one of the largest wine collections in the world, and an internationally famous dessert room," OpenTable's description of the famed steakhouse says. "These elements have combined since 1956 to provide guests with a unique culinary experience. Prime steaks are cut to order, vegetables are grown locally on the Bern’s farm when available and sourced from the finest purveyors, and the menu includes 20 choices of caviar. Each visit to Bern’s Steak House takes you on a gastronomic adventure that defines Bern’s not as a meal but as an experience."

Buccan – 350 South County Road, Palm Beach

"The concept, conceived by James Beard-nominated Chef Clay Conley, is a high-end bistro, featuring progressive American cuisine, in a casually sophisticated setting. The predominant characteristic of Buccan's menu is a changing array of small plates - highlighting the use of superior ingredients and preparation - offering an adventurous and memorable dining experience," OpenTable said.

Latitudes Key West on Sunset Key – 245 Front St., Opal Key Resort & Marina, Slip 29, Key West

"Inspired by the warm breezes and gorgeous views of the Gulf of Mexico, Latitudes offers an elegant beachfront dining experience," the restaurant website says. "Start the day with classic egg dishes and tropical fruit, and tuck into fresh local fish and steaks with a bottle of wine from our well-curated list when the sun sets."

Lilac – 500 Channelside Drive, Tampa

Already the recipient of a Michelin star earlier this year, Lilac is gaining more attention.

OpenTable calls it "a modern Mediterranean restaurant helmed by Michelin-starred chef and California native, John Fraser. Lilac exclusively offers a 4-course prix fixe menu featuring signature elements of Chef Fraser's mastery of Mediterranean cuisine explored through the lens of Floridian coastal produce. Taking its cues from Fraser’s Greek heritage and his admiration of Turkish cuisine, Lilac’s balanced menu is a celebration of the chef’s vegetable-forward philosophy using fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients."

Llama Restaurant – 415 Anastasia Blvd., St. Augustine

The intimate venue asks patrons to be conscious of noise levels in consideration for other parties dining there, and says children younger than age 8 are not allowed.

Chef and owner Marcel Vizcarra says, "From the moment you step foot into Llama our goal is to immerse you in a fine dining experience that allows you to explore the rich culture, ingredients & tastes of my homeland, Peru. Each dish is meticulously crafted using authentic ingredients that tells a story rich in Peruvian history and cultural influence. Taste the passion of recipes humbly inspired by chef’s family table, Japanese training and LeCordon Bleu education."

Savour – 115 E. Park Ave., Tallahassee

"Drew McLeod's restaurant, Savour, is a hub of hospitality; a chic and eclectic dining experience in downtown Tallahassee, where we invite you to pull up a chair and linger over great conversation. With a vision for seasonally inspired, regionally sourced and creatively prepared cuisine, Chef Brian Knepper brings more to the table... even for the most discriminating gastronomes," OpenTable writes. "Our bartenders are always in high spirits and proudly offer a thoroughly curated wine list. Life is short: Savour it!"

Stubborn Seed – 101 Washington Ave., Miami Beach

"Michelin-starred Stubborn Seed is the result of pairing unrelenting passion with an unapologetic approach. It aims to unearth cravings of the palate while constructing a reward in each bite. At the helm is 2022 James Beard Award Semi-Finalist and Bravo’s Top Chef Season 13 Winner, Chef Jeremy Ford," OpenTable said. "In 2022, Stubborn Seed was awarded one Michelin star in the highly coveted inaugural Florida guide."

Stubborn Seed is a tasting menu only restaurant, with the option of a la carte service or the tasting menu at the bar.

California and Florida had the highest share of restaurants on the list with 14 and seven, respectively. That includes returning restaurants Bavel and Bestia in Los Angeles, as well as House of Prime Rib and Kokkari Estiatorio in San Francisco.

This year’s list includes restaurants from 63 cities, including Brooklyn, New York; Palm Beach, Florida, and Old San Juan, Puerto Rico. Foodies may also recognize some overlap with MICHELIN-starred eateries, such as Lilac in Tampa, Providence in Los Angeles and Girl & the Goat in Chicago.

"This year's Top 100 list features neighborhood gems, hotspots like Bad Roman, MICHELIN-starred venues like Jeune et Jolie, and restaurants new to the list from coast-to-coast," Debby Soo, CEO of OpenTable, said in a statement. "We also see representation across the culinary spectrum – with cuisines like Mediterranean, French and Japanese included."
