This has become my default battle against Sylla. Just a humorous note: It never fails to work PERFECTLY for me on my SECOND try! I always forget that Emmigosa is supposed to die earlier than I expect and I forfeit the match! Then I think to myself "Why did you do that AGAIN?!?!" Oh well, eventually I'll stop doing that! Turn 9 thru 11 should be Chrominius: Bite; Howl, Surge of Power. Even with the Bite prior to the Surge of Power buffed by Howl, Swarm was left with 99 HP and I had to wait 2 turns to watch my Chrominius die before brining back in Stormborne Whelpling to do one last attack

Surge of Power deals 740 damage, doubled by Howl, not affected by families... how on earth will 1480 damage not kill Swarm with its 1400HP? Are you using a rare/max-level Chrominius?
And I don't see the point in your suggested change... this way you are using Howl when your pet is blinded so the debuff won't be applied and the ability is completely wasted.

Had the same problem: the Blinding poison made sure that Surge missed in the published strat, or then Howl misses in the alternative suggested. I just let the 99 HP remain and Chrominius died but a Frost Breath from Whelpling finished everything handily anyway.

Can someone please write down what exactly you do/see in your turns? Is your Chrominius coming in early and getting affected by a Shriek and therefore slower than Swarm? Or did Fang die to a Mana Surge crit so Mana Surge's last round hits Swarm and Chrominius comes in 1 round late?

Forgiving strat! I glitched and Stormborne Whelpling used a second frost breath on Ash; had to re-do Mana Storm before Surge of Power when Fang came in, and everything still worked!
