In game notifications listed above will occur 5 minutes before the hour and a slightly different notice will appear on the hour announcing the event. Note that while the start time is the same regardless of which world you are on, the end time (success or failure) can differ. Note that despite the different completion times, you CANNOT complete more than 1 event per hour.

Events

Once spawned, each event will have a personal progress goal and an overall goal to be achieved during 5 minute time limit. If either goal is failed no rewards will be given.

Events take two basic forms – combat and skilling.

  1. Combat events require players to kill a group of creatures that spawn for the event. Personal requirement will be to deal a certain amount of damage while the overall goal is to kill all the monsters. The event immediately ends once all monsters have been killed.
  2. Skilling events require players to harvest a special resource and hand it in to a nearby NPC. Both personal and overall goal are collecting a specific amount of resource. The event ends as soon as the overall goal is met with players given 30 seconds to hand in remaining items. Note that there is no real benefit to wearing any skilling outfits related to the events.
