People|May 13, 2024A Collision Causes Injuries on Eddie Murphy Film SetA crash on the set of Eddie Murphy’s upcoming movie The Pickup left eight crew members hospitalized, some with “life-threatening injuries,” according to the Georgia State Patrol. As the crew filmed a scene for the action-comedy outside Atlanta on April 20, an armored GMC truck and a BMW vehicle collided. They both flipped several times off the road and ended up overturned. The crew members—including two who were ejected from the armored truck when its back doors opened—were rushed to nearby hospitals.
